Key to Migz-Audrey’s solid, happy marriage
MANILA, Philippines – Migz Zubiri and wife Audrey Tan (photo, with their children Adriana, Juanmi and Santi) celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary recently.
Asked what the key to their happy marriage is, Migz said:
The key to our marriage lies in patience, understanding, trust and gratitude.
Being patient is not always easy, especially when you are upset but we just do our best. Being understanding is also very important because that’s what a marriage is about, being there for each other and supporting each other through thick and thin, and you need to understand each other for you to be able to be there for each other 100 percent.
Trust is also a big factor, especially because I travel a lot for work. I am lucky that my wife has always trusted me and never given me a hard time when I am away from home.
When you are always grateful for each other, everything you do for each other becomes more special and you don’t take each other for granted. Being grateful also makes it easier to forgive each other when we make mistakes.
