PMPC awards Ricky’s show Best Lifestyle Program

MANILA, Philippines – Two decades ago, beauty guru Ricky Reyes (photo) mapped up a lifestyle show to educate, inform and advise hairdressers, cosmetologists, salon owners and busy working women on beauty regimen and trends.

Under ScriptoVision, the program Beauty School hosted by Ricky was born, reaping The Best Educational Program from the PMPC Star Awards for TV two years in a row.

Two years after, the show had a reformat and became Beauty School Plus that gave Ricky another award. It was followed by Parlor Games, which won Best Game Show.

The current show Gandang Ricky Reyes Todo Na Toh (GRR TNT) won Best Lifestyle Show of the PMPC recently. The ScriptoVision production is headed by Cris Aquino.

Tomorrow at 9 a.m., GRR TNT features tips for shoppers and gourmets this holiday season. From where to buy unique and affordable items to where to order dishes for Noche Buena, Ricky definitely knows where.

Guesting on the show is Chef Anton Antojos who will demonstrate his holiday season food creations and drink concoctions perfect for reunions with family and friends on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
