Skechers hosts star-studded Zumba party

MANILA, Philippines - Leading the dance fitness frenzy is global lifestyle brand Skechers which recently hosted a star-studded Zumba party at The Palace Pool Club titled Skechers Zumba Fitness Fun. The brand partnered with Dubai-based Zumba instructor Monica Pulgarin for an unforgettable master class much to the delight of fitness enthusiasts and celebrities.

Monica has a long history in dancing and her passion for it made her a force in the fitness world of Latin America and Dubai. She has been touring the globe and has brought her world-class talent to the Philippines.

The dance party atmosphere was led by Monica, joined by Kristie Bonifacio and Madel Paltu-ob, two of the top Zumba instructors in the country. On stage, the trio pumped energy into the morning and led a solid crowd to the perfect mix of music and grooves. Built for fitness and style, Skechers Sport was everybody’s fashion statement to complete the workout ensemble. The Zumba party was graced by over 80 people from the entertainment industry and high society. They included Tim Yap, Tweetie de Leon, Phoemela Barranda, Karylle, Apples Aberin, Melissa Gohing, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, Bubbles Paraiso, Ernie Lopez and Karen Jimeno.

According to Tessa Prieto-Valdes, wearing her Skechers Sport was “like walking or running or even dancing on clouds. With all the high-energy workout that I do, my feet are the happiest thanks to my new Skechers pair. I just love the color and design, too.”

Reigning Miss Philippines Earth-Air Chanel Olive Thomas was among those who loved Skechers Sport’s comfort and fashion, saying that she had utmost fun in her first Zumba experience. Thomas added that she’s “super in love” with her new Memory Foam gel-infused shoes.
