Deniece, ‘Fashion Pulis’ patch things up

Joyce Jimenez - Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines – Deniece Cornejo and “Fashion Pulis” blogger Michael Sy Lim patched things up “in the spirit of Christmas.”

On Friday, Sy posted a photo with Cornejo on his Instagram account.

“In the spirit of Christmas,@onlydeniececornejo and I have decided to put our differences behind us,” he said on the photo caption.

He then apologized to Cornejo saying, “my apologies if I hurt ur feelings because of my post. I want you to know that I had no such intention. I was just doing my job.”

In return, Cornejo reposted Sy’s photo on her Instagram account where she has accepted his apology.

“Sa araw ng pasko ang hangarin natin bawat isa ay magpalaya at tanggapin ang apology lalo na kung taos puso ito ipapahayag,” she said in the caption.

She even noted that a lot from the showbiz industry have already asked for her forgiveness and later became her friends.

“Hindi man perpekto ang ating buhay ang mahalaga ay tayo ay nagkakaisa at nagpapasalamat ako sobra na blessing na aking nararanasan,” she added. “I consider this as a sign to victory soon [Remember], when you forgive you heal and when you let go you grow.”

It was in August when Cornejo filed a cyber libel complaint against Sy after he published on his blog some medical records about her, claiming she was sick with sexually transmitted disease.
