Eraserheads most streamed OPM artist on Spotify in 2015
MANILA, Philippines — For the second year in a row, rock band Eraserheads is the most played local artist on music streaming service Spotify in the Philippines.
Eraserhads has so far bested all local artists on Spotify since it was launched in the Philippines in July 2014.
OPM band Up Dharma Down, singer Sarah Geronimo and bands Silent Sanctuary and MYMP occupy Spotify Philippines's top five OPM artist list.

Overall, however, Ed Sheeran is most streamed artist on Spotify in the Philippines, followed by Maroon 5, One Direction, Ariana Grande and Sam Smith.
Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" is the most streamed track on Spotify Philippines.

Meanwhile, Spotify Philippines revealed that Drake is the most streamed artist in the world with over 1.8 billion streams this year, beating Ed Sheeran, last year's most streamed artist.
Rihanna is the most streamed female artist of 2015, while Justin Bieber has the most streams in a single with 36 million streams on November 13.
The most streamed album of 2015, however, is "Beauty Behind The Madness" by The Weeknd.
But Ed Sheeran is now the most streamed artist of all time on Spotify, with more than 3 billion streams to date, and with over 59 million listeners this year.
