MANILA, Philippines - Pedro Mendes (center), a model from Geneva, Switzerland won the 2015 Mister International title succeeding our very own Neil Perez last Nov. 30 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila.
With Mendes are his runners-up (from left) Julian Torres of Panama (third), Anderson Tomazini of Brazil (first), Sang-Jin Lee of Korea (second) and Jakub Kraus of Czech Republic (fourth).
Philippine bet Reniel Villareal was one of the Top 10 finalists along with Rafael Angelucci of Venezuela, Chris Nayna of Australia, Kenny Austin of Indonesia and Fernando Alvares of Puerto Rico.
Rounding up the Top 15 were Ivan Virrait of Sweden, Farid Matar of Lebanon, Nan Li of China, Alejandro Ruiz of Mexico and Daniel Barreres of Spain.
Villareal bagged the Best in National Costume award. He wore an Ibong Adarna-inspired costume by award-winning designer Edwin Uy. His runners-up were Mister Indonesia and Mister Venezuela. Villareal was also named Mister Philippine Airlines.
Other special awardees were Edwin Aw of Singapore (Mister Congeniality) and Alejandro Ruiz of Mexico (Mister Photogenic).
