2015 Miss Campus Role Model Philippines

MANILA, Philippines - Barmae Aica Chua, 17, was crowned 2015 Miss Campus Role Model Philippines last Saturday night, Nov. 21 at the Emar Suites Roofdeck in Mandaluyong City beating out 21 other beauties representing different schools nationwide.

From Caloocan City, Barmae is a junior Mass Communication major in Communication Arts at St. Paul University Manila. She was one of the 2014 Teen Ambassadors of the Earth, 2014 Miss Teen Eco Tourism winner, a commercial model and an advocate of Mother Earth’s conservation.

Other winners (from left) were Lou Venice Miclat of Jose P. Laurel Sr. High School, Quezon City (first runner-up), Christine Ann Oblar of University of the East, Manila (Miss Metro Manila), Ananda Marga Sotelo of Grabsum School Incorporated, Candelaria, Quezon Province (Miss Mindanao), Bianca Mae Hernandez of Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila School, Pasig City (Miss Visayas) and Maria Angelica Barcelona of Mindoro State University, Calapan, Mindoro.

The six-year-old pageant is staged by RDH Entertainment Network headed by Richard Hiñola, founder and national director, which aims to discover a new breed of campus beauty queens with a legacy. Members of the panel of judges included Robert Requintina of Manila Bulletin, international pageants national director Ovette Ricalde and this correspondent.
