MANILA, Philippines - All is fair in the world, at least according to Kris Aquino.

On Thursday night, the TV host-actress took to Instagram to tell her more than 2 million followers the "karma" she received after she hosted the spouses of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders.

Kris, together with sisters Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, Pinky Aquino-Abellada, Viel Aquino-Dee, toured the APEC leaders' spouses around Intramuros in Manila. According to reports, the tour, which made stops in Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church and Casa Manila before proceeding to lunch at the Marble Hall of the Ayuntamiento de Manila, lasted for four hours.

"About to sleep, Bimb took this picture- decided to post this so we can all have a good laugh tonight sa karma ng kaartehan ko... na SUNBURN ako ng bongga- nabilad in Fort Santiago at the peak of the just before noon heat," she said.

Kris added: "You'll love the sense of humor of my sister Viel, baka daw my entire back nag ka lace patterned sunburn. Si Bimb naman said the shape of the sunburn is like the Batman mask from the Michael Keaton era." "Quits na tayo sa lahat ng nahirapan mag commute these past few days, patas ang mundo, patche patche naman ang balat ko."

Kris wore a blue Filipiniana dress with lace patterns on the back.

In a separate post on her Instagram account on Thursday, Kris said the Philippines is "blessed" to have hosted this year's APEC.

"I captured this while waiting for our guests this morning. It felt like a beautiful reminder of upholding our treasured cultural trait of being welcoming & hospitable to all our guests, and being proud of our country & our people. MABUHAY," Kris said, referring to her photo of the Philippine flag.

She added: "Some of the APEC Leaders are flying out of the Philippines today, others will leave tomorrow. We've been blessed to host this yearly gathering that continues to help build closer ties, economic cooperation, shared prosperity for member nations, inclusiveness & peaceful coexistence."
