MANILA, Philippines - Original Pilipino Music artists join the world in paying tribute to the victims of Paris terror attack last week.

On Monday, Ryan Cayabyab led musicians at the 6th Elements National Singing-Songwriting Camp in performing the John Lennon "Imagine" at the Hacienda Isabella in Indang, Cavite on Monday as a "reminder of the need for harmony and unity."

Artists and musicians such as Jim Paredes, Gerard Salonga, Audie Gemora, Chito Miranda, Ebe Dancel and Gloc 9, as well as the 60 participants of the national music camp, join Cayabyab in the tribute.

"Hello world, we are Filipino artists gathered here in a workshop called Elements," Paredes said in the introduction for the performance. "We would like to do this song for the people in Paris who are scared, who are suffering, and those who died."

Cayabyab also added that "the tribute is not only for the victims in Paris but also “worldwide for those who suffered terrorism.”

Paredes also added Filipino lines to the song to give it a local touch.
