Look your best for the holidays
Everyone’s excited about the coming holidays, especially businesswoman Joby Linsangan-Moreno, owner of Orange Blush Salon.
She started to put up holiday décor in the salon, but aside from that, Joby is looking forward to welcoming clients with new promos to help them look their best for the holidays. Orange Blush Salon has introduced the Best Ever Brazilian Keratin Treatment that brings back life to severely damaged and treated hair, making it softer, shinier and healthier.
According to Joby, it’s not that complicated or hard to understand how the treatment works. “It’s most suitable for dry, frizzy, damaged and unmanageable hair. The keratin is the protein component of the hair that makes hair shiny, soft and healthy. When hair is regularly colored and treated, the natural keratin in our hair tends to be lost during the chemical process. Brazilian Keratin contains the keratin needed to revive our hair’s luster and softness after all the hair chemical processes. This is a revolutionary solution to most of our hair problems.”
Ever since the Orange Blush Salon opened, Joby and her staff have consistently tried to reach out to their clients by providing services and little touches that will not just respond to their needs, but which will also make their salon experience a pleasant one. For the holidays — aside from introducing the Brazilian Keratin treatment — they are giving away free Orange Blush Salon mugs to their customers (with a minimum of P2,000 worth of salon services) as a Christmas treat.
These thoughtful touches are probably what account for the rapid growth of the Orange Blush chain. Joby draws inspiration from industry titans like ABS-CBN president and COO Charo Santos-Concio, Tessie Sy-Coson of SM and Banco de Oro, Howard Schultz of Starbucks and Donald Trump of Trump Properties and applies to her own experience the lessons she has learned from reading about them and how they grew their business empires.
One of the valuable lessons Joby learned is to closely observe customer behavior. For the coming holidays, for instance, she has noticed that during this time of year, the most patronized services in Orange Blush Salon are their hair coloring, hair re-bonding and foot spa services. “It must be the time of the year when they want to feel pampered the most,” she says.
The Orange Hair Rebond is probably the salon’s most popular service. A lot of people come in asking for it, and Joby and her staff are always happy to oblige. They even have a warranty promise, which basically means that the salon guarantees that the clients will come out satisfied with the service. “Since our services come with a warranty promise, our clients can be assured of the high quality and standards that we offer in our salon services; that we are responsible for the work we have done; and that we certainly care about our customers’ concerns and feelings.”
Part of this effort is to make sure that their staff is trained on how to provide the best service to their clients. It may be a probinsya-based salon (they’re based in Nueva Ecija with several branches all over the north Luzon area) but that’s no reason to be any less exacting when it comes to standards compared to the Manila-based salons. Joby reveals that they do weekly training of the standard operating procedures for their staff, both old and new. They also train the team monthly to keep them abreast of new products and trends in the industry.
But Joby reveals that she’s even more excited about what’s coming for them next year. For 2016, she sees their expansion plans kicking into high gear. “2016 is a very exciting and promising year for Orange Blush Salon’s expansion plans,” says Joby. “We have laid the ground work and plans for expansion in 2015, and I can say that we shall strive to be more innovative in our processes and services, and shall continually strive to become the best in our field.”
Aside from the salon services, part of their 2016 plans is to launch their own line of hair products, made especially to meet the needs of their customers. “It definitely is an exciting plan for us all!” she says.
