Jessy Mendiola confirms breakup with JM de Guzman

MANILA, Philippines - Jessy Mendiola confirms that she and JM de Guzman have called it quits.

Despite this, the ABS-CBN actress said they remain "friends" and are "still communicating."

"I think it's better if we focus on our respective priorities," she replied when asked what caused their breakup in an interview on Thursday. "I just want to focus on myself and that's the same with him."

This is the second time Jessy and JM have broken up. The two previously had a two-year relationship that ended in 2013.

They got back together early this year after JM made a showbiz comeback in 2014.

On the possibility of being back together again for the third time Jessy said, "I don't want to answer na parang alam ko lahat."

They may have broken up, but the Kapamilya actress said she still sees JM as "an amazing person. He's very talented, he's very loving."

"I think that's why I fell in love with him," Jessy added.
