MANILA, Philippines - Kris Aquino's 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "All You Need is Pag-ibig" is still a go.

This was confirmed by the film's director Antoinette Jadaone on Tuesday in an interview before the launch of her book "The Arrow with a Heart Pierced Through Him."

"Tuloy po siya, December 25 pa rin po siya," she candidly said.

Jadaone also announced that Kris has “confirmed” she will push through with the film in spite of the road blocks it has faced the past few weeks.

It was earlier reported that Kris Aquino announced she is backing out of the MMFF entry after her requested cinematographer was not able to commit to do her film.

She later said in an Instagram post addressed to Star Cinema head Malou Santos and Jadaone: "I'm sorry for the stress I put you through, the many wasted hours working on the project, and all the effort you exerted... I was wrong to commit to something that in all honesty, I am emotionally, physically & mentally not ready for."

Despite the sudden changes in the film, Jadaone chose to remain positive.

"Winelcome ko lang siya," she said about the changes. "Kasi kung masyado kong iisipin na masakit ang ulo ng mga tao, dapat mayro’n isang taong keri lang, hayaan mo magkagulo. Halimbawa nagkagulo sa casting, ang okay sa Star Cinema na-preserve ‘yong vision ko, ‘yon talaga ang gusto ko sa film na iba’t ibang kuwento."

She also confirmed Derek Ramsay's addition to the film.

In Ricky Lo's Funfare column in The Philippine Star, he said that Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista will be replaced by Derek.

"Actually hindi siya sobrang leading man," she said describing his role. “May something do’n sa love stories na akala n’yo the usual love stories pero different siya.”

Also part of the film are Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Jodi Sta. Maria and Ian Veneracion.
