Maine Mendoza returns to Twitter after hack attack

MANILA, Philippines - AlDub Nation, rejoice! "Eat Bulaga" mainstay Maine Mendoza has reclaimed her Twitter account hours after it was hacked by Anonymous Philippines.

Maine took to Twitter to inform her over two million followers that she has regained access to her social media account.

She also revealed that her Facebook account was also compromised by hackers.

Before the Twitter account was reclaimed, Anonymous Philippines apologized to fans of Maine and Alden Richards.

"Wala po kaming masamang intensyon. We use the internet to communicate with you. Nais lang namin magparating ng mahalagang mensahe," the group said on its Facebook page.
