MANILA, Philippines - As the Philippines celebrates the National Clean Air and the National Environmental Awareness Month, Earthday Foundation, EMB-DENR and the Robinsons Galleria present The 2015 Clean Air Concert on Nov. 4 at the Robinsons Galleria’s Activity Center.
The concert will feature Itchyworms, Silent Sanctuary, Barbie Almalbis and Clean Air champ Lou Bonnevie alongside various environmental resource speakers and guest student youth leaders. Front acts are acclaimed male classical group Fortenors and rising acoustic duo Take Two with hosts Alvin Anson, Pam Nieva and MIDI G. with 2014 Miss Philippines Earth Water Kim Covert and Miss Siliman Elana Bartlet. The activity will have a whole day exhibit from various participating supporters: Partnership For Clean Air; Honda Cars Philippines; Green Technology Electric Vehicles; City of Pasig; and Lung Center of the Philippines. There will be film showing, trivia segments, youth student forum highlighting the current clean air Perwisyong Usok Pigilan Campaign starting at 3 p.m. with the concert proper at 5 p.m.
“This is our third Clean Air concert presentation. The event continues to reach out and promote through entertainment the importance of environment preservation and to inform the public about the need to improve the quality of air in the city. The activity serves as an information-educational-campaign on the importance of lessening our carbon footprints for Mother Earth. This will put together the private, NGO and government and the academe in one project with a concerted effort to make livable, cleaner and safer cities,” says Lou, president of Earthday Jam Foundation.
The Clean Air exhibit will run until Nov. 8 at the Digiworld area of Robinsons Galleria.

Tomorrow, satellite booths will be placed within the performance area. There will be limited seats on a first-come, first-serve basis with the front stage area assigned to online participants and winner.
