MANILA, Philippines - Fans of Air Supply (photo) are looking forward to its visit to Manila to celebrate its 49th anniversary. Grand Leisure Corp., in cooperation with Solaire Resort & Casino, presents the Air Supply 40th Anniversary Concert on Dec. 7, 8 p.m. at The Theatre of Solaire, and on Dec. 9 at the SMX Convention Center, Lanang Davao.
Russell Hitchcock, lead vocalist, and Graham Russell, singer-songwriter-guitarist, are going to thrill their fans with their hits, among them Making Love Out of Nothing at All, Lost in Love, I’m All Out of Love, Vanishing Race, I Can Wait Forever and Lonely is the Night.
It is recalled that Hitchcock, who was originally lead vocalist of the Australian band 19th Generation, formed Air Supply in 1975, after meeting British-born singer-songwriter-guitarist Russell on the set of a production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Air Supply went on to produce bestselling songs and albums.
The Air Supply 40th Anniversary Concert is presened by RJ 100, WISH 1075, Retro DSG FM 105.9, Business Mirror, Telenovela Channel, Park n Ride, HDI Admix, MMT and Lapid’s Chicharific.
