Bangs Garcia ‘very happy’ with non-showbiz boyfriend

MANILA, Philippines – Bangs Garcia is “very happy” now in her relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend Lloyd Birchmon.

They first met each other in Boracay, although she clarified that “hindi kami sa bar do’n nagkakilala, sa beach mismo habang nag-swim ganyan. He approached me then ‘yon na, doon nagsimula.”

The two are together for nine months now.

Bangs talked to the members of the press on Wednesday, at the press conference of the film “No Boyfriend Since Birth” which stars Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez. It’ll be in cinemas on November 11.

Bangs and Birchmon is in a long distance relationship since his work as a real-estate agent requires him to travel a lot.

“I don’t believe in long distance before,” she confessed. “Pero kasi siya you know that he’ll fight for it.”

Even if they’re still on the early stage of relationship, Bangs said they were already talking about marriage.

Before her present relationship, the actress was linked to Filipino-British football player Phil Younghusband.
