Benjamin wants to be an English professor

And why not? Benjamin Alves is highly-qualified to be an English professor, after all he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English Literature from the University of Guam where he grew up. He writes poems. 

With that plan set aside for now, Benjamin is busy as one of GMA Network’s sought-after leading men. Aside from acting, he can do hosting, singing and dancing. He is currently part of Beautiful Strangers playing the role of Lawrence, the only son of Alejandra (Dina Bonnevie) and Ronaldo Castillo (Christopher de Leon), and the half-brother of Kristine (Heart Evangelista). He  falls in love with Joyce, played by Lovi Poe.

His previous Kapuso shows include Coffee Prince, Katipunan, Adarna and Dading. He also plays Pres. Manuel L. Quezon in Heneral Luna.
