The special recognition illustrates worldwide acclaim and appreciation for true Filipina grace and beauty and her win is a proud moment for our country.” This is the first time BPCI had sent a delegate to the Miss Globe pageant.
Ann Lorraine could not help but be grateful for the immense support she received from Filipinos here and abroad throughout the competition, not to mention her BPCI family. She said, “From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank everyone, my family, friends and all Filipinos, especially my fellow Kapampangans for rooting for me. It was your overwhelming love and support that gave me the strength and motivation to win. This is our victory! Maraming Salamat po. #labANNpilipinas.” This was her first trip overseas.
The 22-year-old, 5’8”-tall beauty hails from Mexico, Pampanga. She’s a BS Management Accountancy graduate from the University of Santo Tomas. She won the 2015 Bb. Pilipinas Tourism title last March 15 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, her first local pageant stint. Since her teens, Ann Lorraine dreams to be recognized as a supermodel like her personal idols Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, to name a few.
