The start of the Christmas celebration in Philippines

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Filipinos start celebrating Christmas as early as September ---— the first month of the “ber” months.

You can already feel the spirit of Christmas in the Philippines. You can hear Christmas carols in the air. Some enterprising souls are making Christmas decor, while balikbayan are coming home to join their families. Other people are already looking for gifts for their relatives, friends and acquaintances. Those in other countries start sending packages for their relatives and friends as Christmas gifts.

Some companies extend the early Christmas bonus to their employees to give them time to buy gifts. Thus, trade fair organizers launch pre-Christmas exhibits for early Christmas shoppers. Bargain hunters and budget-conscious shoppers prefer to shop early because goods and products are cheaper and the crowds are lesser.

Henry Babiera invites shoppers at the Greenhills Shopping Complex during the 22nd Philippine Toys, Gifts, Housewares and Christmas Décor Fair from Oct. 9 to Nov. 2. Shoppers can buy in the tiangge decorations, toys and Christmas trees and other products as gift items.

The 25-day trade fair is a must-see for bargain hunters and budget-conscious shoppers looking for high-quality products and goods at affordable prices.

The exhibit, organized by Prime Asia Trade Planners & Convention Organizers (PATEPCO), will showcase assorted top-quality products by about 2,000 stallholders from different regions.
