Sam Milby says prenups a 'negative' in marriage

Joyce Jimenez - Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines — Sam Milby believes that a prenuptial agreement is not necessary before marriage.

"I personally don't believe in prenup. I think when you get married, it's all or nothing," he said in an interview aired in "Mornings at ANC" on Wednesday.

"It'll give a negative vibe in the marriage," he added. "For me, it's all or nothing, I don't honestly believe in prenup."

His opinion about prenup agreement is the same with his character in his upcoming film "Prenup," which also stars Jennylyn Mercado. It will be in cinemas on October 14.

The film is his first movie with Regal Films, and Sam is happy for the interesting story and co-star that they have given him.

He admitted that he felt pressured working with the Kapuso actress who bagged the best actress award in last year's Metro Manila Film Festival for the film "English Only Please."

Nevertheless, Sam feels "blessed" to be working with Jennylyn.

"She's extremely nice," he said about his leading lady. "First time working with her there's parang ilangan, but we had a pictorial before shooting and with the pictorial pa lang we really got along, which is a great natural chemistry."

Aside from the film, Sam is also preparing for his tenth year anniversary concert on November 28 at the Kia Theater in Cubao, Quezon City. It's dubbed "The Milby Way," where he is expected to express a different side of him.

Some of the guests set to appear in his concert are Gerald Anderson, Xian Lim, Rayver Cruz and Enchong Dee.
