Ejay Falcon defends Ellen Adarna over ‘ditching’ issue

MANILA, Philippines – Ejay Falcon defended Ellen Adarna from bashers after reports surfaced that the actress "ditched" him during the 9th Star Magic Ball. 

Ellen was invited by Ejay to be his date at this year's Star Magc Ball held on Saturday, September 12 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City.

But on Monday, ABS-CBN news program "TV Patrol" reported that the actress was seen together with Paulo Avelino at the ball, leaving her date Ejay. Ellen and Paulo were even caught on camera holding hands.

On Tuesday, Ejay posted on his Instagram account asking the public not to judge the actress.

“Pls. don’t judge her. She’s an amazing date. Nagenjoy ako kasama siya,” he said on the caption of his photo with Ellen.

He added that he doesn’t mind if the actress mingled with other celebrities at the ball.“Party naman yun so natural lang na maginteract sa ibat ibang tao," Ejay explained.

The "Pasion de Amor" actor said he's thankful to Ellen for accepting his invitation to be his date at the Star Magic Ball and doesn’t regret having her as his date.

Ejay has been vocal about his admiration for the actress since working with her in the ABS-CBN soap opera "Pasion de Amor."

In interviews, however, Ejay clarified that he’s not courting Ellen.
