IN PHOTOS: Bea and Zanjoe, Angelica and John Lloyd at Star Magic Ball 2015

MANILA, Philippines – Celebrity couple Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo and showbiz sweethearts Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz were among the scene-stealers at the red carpet of the 9th Star Magic Ball at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City on Saturday.

The event marks the first time the two real-life celebrity couples attended a major local showbiz event after it was reported that their relationships were on the rocks.

Bea was elegant in a white Alexander McQueen dress, while Zanjoe wore a Comme des Garcons suit.

Meanwhile, John Lloyd was dashing Rajo Laurel suit. Angelica wore a Rajo Laurel dress.

It was in June when it was first reported that John Lloyd and Angelica’s relationship is “headed for splitsville.” However, the two immediately denied the rumor.

Bea, on the other hand, admitted her relationship with Zanjoe faced some hurdles last July.

If the 9th Star Magic Ball is any indication, it seems the romance of the two celebrity couples are in full bloom.
