MANILA, Philippines - Despite thunderstorms and controversies, more than 300 Kapamilya stars gathered for the 9th Star Magic Ball on Saturday.
ABS-CBN's most star-studded event, this year's ball was held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City and is the network's most star-studded event.
One of the event's most awaited highlights is the Star Magic Ball' special awards. This year, perennial on screen couple Kim Chiu and Xian Lim won the Couple of the Night Award (last year, real life couple Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz won the award).
Sam Milby, who attended the ball without a date, was named Male Star of the Night. Meanwhile, Julia Montes was named Female Star of the Night.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were named Best Dressed Couple, while Denise Laurel won the Charmer of the Night award.
Married couple Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones were named the Moet and Chandon Fabulous Pair.
