Jake Cuenca denies hand in alleged Enrique Gil drunken incident

MANILA, Philippines – Jake Cuenca denied that he was involved in the alleged drunken incident of Enrique Gil.

Reports claim Jake was with Enrique when he allegedly had a few drinks while they’re on their flight to London for their “ASAP 20” show over the weekend, when the alleged incident happened.

“Nagulat ako kasi hindi talaga ako involved sa issue,” said Jake during the press conference of his ABS-CBN show “Pasion de Amor” on Thursday. “Alam ko maraming beses na akong na-involved sa ganyang klaseng issue, pero malinis ang konsensya ko, hindi po talaga ako involved.”

Jake also kept mum about the other people being involved in the issue saying, “Hindi po ako spokesperson ng kahit na sino kaya hindi rin po ako makakapagsalita for anyone.”

The Kapamilya actor believes that he’s over his habit of going to night outs, which he attributed to his girlfriend Sara Grace Kelly.

“Gusto ko lang din po sabihin na ako po proud ako sabihin na... hindi ko kayang sabihin na nagbagong buhay ako, pero proud po ako sabihin na dahil po siguro sa girlfriend ko marami akong habits na natanggal, marami akong old habits na natanggal,” he said.

On Saturday, Kelly will be Jake’s date on the annual Star Magic Ball, which he said was their first public appearance together. Their outfits were designed by Boom Sason.

“Masayang masaya po talaga ako ngayon,” he said about his love life. “Sobrang in love po ako ngayon, I can't ask for anything more. She's supportive and she brings out the best in me.”

Jake is also thankful that his show “Pasion de Amor” is extending its run, where new characters will come and some characters will make a surprise comeback.
