MANILA, Philippines - The next grand champion of The Voice Kids will come from either Team Lea Salonga or Team Bamboo.
The top-rating and Twitter-trending singing competition on Sunday night (Aug. 23) named Reynan Dal-Anay and Esang de Torres (Team Lea) and Elha Nympha and Sassa Dagdag (Team Bamboo) as the Top 4 young artists voted by the public who will face off in the highly-anticipated grand finals on Aug. 29 and 30.
Leading the public poll was Reynan, who received 32.98 percent of the votes, followed by Esang, who got 19.24 percent. Completing this season’s grand finalists are Elha (18.23 percent) and Sassa (13.71 percent), who both impressed the public with their hair-raising performances.
Meanwhile, Team Sarah Geronimo’s Zephanie and Kyle failed to make it to the next level of the competition.
This weekend, Reynan, Esang, Elha and Sassa will battle it out for one last time as they woo the public to vote for them.
The grand champion will receive a recording contract from MCA Music Inc., a music instrument package, a family utility vehicle, a house and lot worth P2M, P1M cash and a trust fund worth of P1M.
The Voice Kids Season 2 airs tomorrow, Aug. 29, 6:45 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 30, 7 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
