MANILA, Philippines – Paolo Bediones this week owned up on his mistake with the video scandal that circulated on the Internet last year.
The two-part video scandal of Paolo has been the talk of the town last year. But instead of defending himself, the TV5 news anchor took a short break and kept mum about the issue.

On his interview in “Good Times With DJ Mo” which could be viewed in Digital 5’s website, he admitted that the whole issue “was my fault.”
“The hard part is having to deal with the fact that it was my fault,” Paolo said. “Kapabayaan ko ‘yon, e, you know. It was my fault that we got into that situation.”
“Alam mo ‘yong pinakamasakit, may nasaktan ka, e. ‘Yon ang pinakamasakit,” he confessed.
The girl in the video was his partner, and their relationship has ended a long time ago.
“The hardest part, honestly, was having to deal with my partner in the video,” he added. “She’s really angry and going through all these sort of emotions, name it. I had no one to really help me with that situation.”
Since the video came out, a lot of people bashed and criticized him.
He admitted that there were times when he would like to answer back on every comment he would receive on social media.
“We do read it, we do end up reading it,” he said. “Some of us are affected by it. Some of us laugh at it. Some of us find joy in trying to concoct a reply. But at the end of the day, you know what, you guys, you’ll never have the life of the celebrity you’re bashing.”
“You’ll never enjoy the kind of life that they have. You’ll never be able to know what it’s like to be that popular,” he added.
In the end, he told the people who bash other celebrities and personalities that “if you can’t freakin’ put your real name there, then that opinion is not yours.”
