LOS ANGELES — Salma Hayek has obtained a restraining order against two women she says have impersonated her and threatened to kidnap her daughter.
A Los Angeles judge granted temporary restraining orders against Liana Philippon and Odette Bodagh on Friday.
An attorney for the Oscar-nominated actress stated in court filings that the women have impersonated Hayek and made numerous attempts to contact her and her family. The filings also accuse the women of making a veiled threat to kidnap and ransom Hayek's daughter.
The order requires the women to stay away from Hayek, her husband and 7-year-old daughter, and not to communicate with them or impersonate the actress.
An attempt to find numbers for Philippon and Bodagh was unsuccessful.
A judge set a court hearing for Sept. 4 to extend the restraining order.
