Julie Ann San Jose: I'm Unique!

MANILA, Philippines – Julie Anne San Jose chose to ignore the comparisons being made between her and other artists.

She’s one of GMA’s bankable talents because of her talent in singing, dancing and now acting.

“I don’t see anything sa akin na dapat ikumpara sa ibang tao. Kasi I think everyone is doing their own thing and (is) unique from others,” she said in an interview on Thursday.

“I never compete with anyone naman. Basta ako I’m doing my job, I’m doing what I love and wala naman talaga akong say sa mga comparisons,” she added.

The 21-year-old performer admits she’s still exploring the possibilities she could have in her career.

“I’m happy and sobra pong nakakataba ng puso na binibigyan po ako ng GMA ng mga opportunities. Mas hinahasa ko pa ang sarili ko. So kumbaga nag-e-explore pa ako,” she said.

As she plans to hone her hosting skills next, Julie Anne is happy to be part of the upcoming Sunday variety show “Sunday Pinasaya.”

“This is something new to me, so for sure marami pa akong matututunan dito,” she said about hosting the show.

The other hosts of the show are Marian Rivera, Ai Ai delas Alas, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Barbie Forteza, Joey Paras, Valeen Montenegro and Jerald Napoles. It will air on August 9, replacing “Sunday All Stars.”
