MANILA, Philippines – Miss World 2013 Megan Young returned to GMA-7.
The 25-year-old actress signed a one-year contract with the Kapuso network on Tuesday. GMA-7 executives Felipe Gozon and Jimmy Duavit, among others, attended the contract signing.
As her first project following the signing, Megan will co-host the returning reality talent show “Starstruck” with Dingdong Dantes.
The beauty queen also said she wants to focus on acting and hosting during her time as a GMA-7 talent. Megan added she wants to grow as an actress.
Megan has come full circle as she entered showbiz through the second season of “Starstruck” in 2004. She has also worked with ABS-CBN and TV5.
Prior signing a network contract, it was rumored that Megan will headline the remake of the Mexican telenovela “MariMar” with GMA-7.
