Melissa Mendez: I am owning up to my mistake

MANILA, Philippines - Melissa Mendez issued a public apology to Rey Pamaran after their encounter in a flight on Friday.

The character actress issued her public apology through an Instagram post on Tuesday, where she screen-captured her statement.

“I am owning up to my mistake. No matter what the reason might be, I had no right to physically hurt Mr. Pamaran,” she said in the post.

The two had an encounter on Friday after the actress has been offloaded the flight of Cebu Pacific, after allegedly being unruly inside the plane and hurt Pamaran and an airline staff.

“I would just like to simply apologize for my untoward actions and move on from this. This incident has caused a lot of pain and trouble to me and my family, as well as the other party involved,” she added.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that Pamaran was not appeased by Mendez’ public apology through a social networking site, and will push through in filing a case today.
