Ruffa Gutierrez recounts Annabelle, Esther reconciliation

MANILA, Philippines- Ruffa Gutierrez was surprised on how Annabelle Rama and Esther Lahbati reconciled.

It happened during the exclusive launch of “Love Collection II,” which is being modeled by her and her daughters Lorin and Venice.

Ruffa said Sarah Lahbati’s mom, Esther, was invited to the event after the young actress asked her if she could invite some relatives to attend the launch, since she and her son Zion will join the fashion show.

“So nang naghahanap si Tita Esther ng upuan [sa event], nakita siya ng mommy ko… siguro dahil event ko rin ‘yon, Love Collection, hinila na lang ng mommy ko si tita Esther para umupo sa tabi niya,” she recalled, in an interview on Tuesday after the Summering with Rustans event.

Annabelle and Esther had a fallout last year after the latter revealed that she was “snubbed” during the baptismal party of Zion.

The former beauty queen turned actress admitted to asking her mom to reach out to Esther during Sarah’s birthday party in October, yet the latter refused.

She believes that crossing paths during her event was the perfect timing for the two to reconcile.

“So sa akin when the timing is right, hindi mo na kailangan pilitin. Mangyayari at mangyayari ‘yon and for me that’s really good. Kasi peace na sila, happy na lahat, and sana they can start fresh,” she said.

Meanwhile, Ruffa said the Gutierrez family will start shooting for the next season of “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez” this summer.
