Is Miss Universe Philippines 2015 Pia Wurtzbach dating PNoy?

MANILA, Philippines – Pia Wurtzbach is already being courted by issues, days after being crowned the 2015 Miss Universe Philippines.

According to GMA-7 Arnold Clavio in his tabloid column published March 11, the 25-year-old beauty queen was reportedly seen with President Benigno Aquino III in a restaurant in Quezon City on March 7.

This raises the question: Are Pia and Aquino dating?

Pia denied the rumor in a taped interview with GMA-7’s “24 Oras” aired Tuesday.

“No, No,” she answered when asked about reports that she dated Aquino.

She also said, “It’s very flattering but this is my first day as Miss Universe Philippines 2015. And I’m just trying to savor the moment. I’ve been waiting for this crown for a long time. Matagal kong niligawan itong koronang ito. Ito yung boyfriend ko ngayon.”

Pia joined the Bb. Pilipinas pageant in 2013 and 2014 before winning the top crown this year.

But it seems like Pia was singing a slightly different tune in her interview with ABS-CBN’s “Aquino and Abunda Tonight” on Tuesday, aired hours the "24 Oras" hour interview, when she faced the show’s co-host and the president’s sister, Kris Aquino.

When asked by Kris if she is dating her brother, Pia said, “I know him. I talk to him. He’s very fun to talk to.”

“Please make him happy. He needs it,” Kris told Pia.

“He’s a very busy man. And I’m also busy preparing for the Miss Universe,” Pia said.

President Aquino’s love life has made headlines over the years. In the past, he was linked to radio disc jockey Grace Lee, politician-television host Shalani Soledad and stylist Liz Uy.
