Zanjoe Marudo, Beauty Gonzales unexpected love team

MANILA, Philippines - Zanjoe Marudo didn't expect the success of his team up with Beauty Gonzales.

Their love team in the TV show “Dream Dad” has gained a big following since the show aired in November last year.

“Hindi namin ini-expect na magiging ganito 'yung suporta ng mga manunuod sa team up namin ni Beauty,” he said, when asked to react on their team up's success.

“Nakakatuwa na malaman 'yung reaksyon nila na kinikilig sila sa istorya nina Baste at Alex,” he added.

The Kapamilya actor also expressed gratitude to the public for supporting their show.

“Masayang masaya at sobrang nagpapasalamat kaming lahat sa Dream Dad sa suporta at pagmamahal na ibinibigay ng mga manunuod sa amin,” he said. “Nakakawala ng pagod hindi lang dahil nag-pay off lahat ng pinaghihirapan namin, pero dahil din sa nakakapagpasaya kami ng tao .”

The series is expected to get more exciting as Baste continues processing his adoption of Baby, portrayed by the new child actress  Jana Agoncillo.

Also part of the show are Gloria Diaz, Ariel Ureta, Katya Santos, Yen Santos, Matt Evans, Maxene Magalona, Ces Quesada, Atoy Co, Dante Ponce, and Ketchup Eusebio.

It airs Mondays to Fridays, after "TV Patrol."
