Mariel Rodriguez suffers miscarriage

MANILA, Philippines - Mariel Rodriguez suffered a miscarriage with her first child with Robin Padilla.

In a report by ABS-CBN's Mario Dumaual, Padilla's manager Betchay Vidanes confirmed that the actress had a miscarriage. The report said the actress has decided to wait to bleed naturally rather than being brought to the hospital.

Other reports said she was planning to give birth in the U.S. on October 2015 so the baby could have a blue passport like her.

Last week, the TV host-actress started posting cryptic messages on her Instagram account with the hashtag “byecutiepie.”

Another post was a photo of her and Padilla holding hands. In the caption, she expressed how thankful she was to feel the love and support of her family and friends.
