Trumpets summer workshops

MANILA, Philippines - After celebrating 22 years of setting the stage for emerging talent, Trumpets Playshop makes the summer days even brighter with its new line-up of classes and teachers this year.

Playshop has produced world-class Filipino talents over the years, such as Sam Concepcion, Tippy Dos Santos, Tanya Manalang, Jim Ferrer and Christine Allado.

Enrollment is now open to kids, teens and adults who want to power up on their acting, singing, dancing, modeling and speaking.

Kids age four to 12 will get to bring out their inner thespian with Playshop’s trademark Children’s Theater (CT) and Children’s Musical Theater (CMT) classes, where they will learn the fundamentals of musical theater through song, dance, improvisation and creative storytelling.

Teenagers who are looking to sharpen their performing techniques with new and old friends will have the best summer of their young lives in Playshop’s Musical Theater classes for teens.

Kids and teens whose feet just can’t kick back and chill when it comes to tearing up the dance floor can groove their way into Playshop’s Dance classes.

And whoever said that there’s a deadline for learning and having fun? Playshop’s got men and women age 19 and above covered: College students and busy professionals can join Musical Theater for Adults, Modeling and Starpower classes.

Be the most engaging person in the room with Playshop’s Public Speaking and Hosting classes, taught by Kata Inocencio.

Now, if you wanna learn how to strut your stuff with high pumps on the catwalk, then take the modeling class with Patty Betita.

Advanced kids and teens will also experience what it is like to be a professional stage actor with Summerstock Kids and Playhouse Pro.

Starpower by The CompanY is an intensive training course for people of all ages who want to take their vocal performances on a different level.

Classes begin on April 8 at The Podium, Global City and Alabang and other satellite venues.
