MANILA, Philippines - Netizens and fans mourned over the death of Jamvhille "Jam" Sebastian, who passed away due to lung cancer on Wednesday.

Jam, together with girlfriend and later fiance Mich Liggayu as the online duo JaMich, made a mark on the online world with their short films and music videos.
The pair debuted their online act in 2011 with a short film titled "By Chance," inspired by their real-life love story. The act proved to be a hit among local netizens. From 80,000 followers a year after they debuted online, their Youtube channel now has over 500,000 subscribers. They also have over one million followers on Twitter and five million fans on Facebook.
They also penetrated local mainstream entertainment. In 2012, JaMich starred in the reality show "JaMich In Love: Ang Reality Serye ng Puso."
The couple stopped posting their usual Youtube videos online since Jam was diagnosed of cancer in March 2014.

It's the video that started it all. A news site, in its review of the said video, said "By Chance" "is mawkish to say the least." But it was a hit; netizens have been captivated with the love story of Jam and Mich ever since.

In this 2011 video, JaMich imagined what their lives would be like after five years. The couple imagined themselves as a married couple. "Ako naman ang makakasama mo forever e," Mich told Jam in the video.
'GANGNAM STYLE PRANK'
JaMich proved their charm transcends cutesy romantic videos with this 2012 "prank" music video of Korean star Psy's "Gangnam Style."
'SELFIE SONG'
JaMich teamed up with singer-songwriter and fellow internet artist Davey Langit for the music video of "Selfie Song."

Mich proposed to Jam two months after he was diagnosed with cancer, as documented in this heartwarming video.
