MANILA, Philippines - Sarah Geronimo turned emotional when Jason Dy was hailed winner of the second season of "The Voice of the Philippines" on Sunday.

“Grabe ito, unexpected. Ang ine-expect ko yung worst na eh. Ganun kasi ako eh. Hindi ako nag-e-expect ng kahit ano. Kaya sobrang gulat na gulat ako. Nanghina ako kanina,” Sarah said of Jason's win in a TV interview aired Monday.
She added, "Si Jason has his own voice na hindi mo maririnig sa iba."
The 24-year-old Jason artist of Team Sarah bested Alisah Bonaobra of Team Apl, Leah Patricio of Team Lea and Rence Rapanot of Team Bamboo.
