Know Phil via Kool Trip

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN Sports+Action and Kool Trip Productions in cooperation with AMT Recreation Hauz and Multimedia Services Co., bring you the newest and coolest travel show, Kool Trip, Backpackers Edition. The 30-minute show will showcase must-see destinations and prove that it is indeed more fun in the Philippines.

Kool Trip takes everyone to the different tourist destinations in the Philippines that showcase breathtaking scenic attractions. It also aims to unveil the rich historical bacground of each place. Moreover, it discovers people and their way of living, plus the food trip that abounds in each travel as it gets to offer the authentic dishes and native delicacies of the destinations.

Kool Trip, Backpackers Edition is hosted by Negros Occidental Rep. Albert Benitez and chairman of the House Committee on Housing and Urban Development, a notable politician in providing significant facts about the place; Marjorie Cornilles, a model and entrepreneur, who loves being acquainted with people from all walks of life and is willing to try anything for the sake of adventure and discovery. Jayson Gainza will make sure every tour is a laugh trip as he brings the comic relief to the show.

Rep. Albee, Marjorie and Jayson will look for undiscovered places for travelers with limited means and budget. Kool Trip will also revisit and share updates on popular tourist destinations.

Kool Trip has featured places like Albay Bicol, Caliraya and Cavinti Laguna, Fort Ilocandia in Ilocos Norte, Pagudpud in Ilocos Sur, Baler Quezon and Sagada.

The travel show explored Coron, Palawan with guest director Albert Martinez in yesterday’s episode. Next to be featured are Oriental Mindoro, Cagayan Valley, Mindanao and the Visayas Region.
