MANILA, Philippines – Winwyn Marquez and Pia Wurtzbach were among the standouts during the national costume competition of the 2015 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

The two were among the top five during the national costume round of the local pageant's fashion show at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Rogelie Catacutan, Ina Dominica Guerrero and Nancu Lee Leonard are also part of the top five.
Pomp and pageantry were definitely on full display during the national costume competition, as the contest’s 34 candidates walked the runway in colorful and elaborate Filipiniana-inspired dresses.

For instance, Leonard wore a gold gown, designed by Edwin Uy, inspired by the Penafrancia. Guerrero, meanwhile, utilized live butterflies during her runway walk.
Pia and Winwyn wore modern interpretations of the classic terno.
