MANILA, Philippines- Kyla’s feels excited for her first performance at “ASAP” as a Kapamilya talent, especially since the show will be celebrating its twentieth year on Sunday, February 22.
“Siyempre iba ‘yon kasi malaking selebrasyon na 20 years na sila,” Kyla said about performing for the show’s anniversary. “Natuwa naman ako na tinawagan nila ako to be part of it. Actually ‘di naman namin ine-expect, but mas lalo akong na-excite kasi isasama nila ako.”
She had her first rehearsal on Thursday and although she has worked with her idols Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera before, she’s still in awe to be sharing the stage with them for the TV show.
Kyla was not able to celebrate Valentine’s Day with husband Rich Alvarez since she’s at Heart Evangelista and Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero’s wedding in Balesin Island.
The two has developed a friendship when they were still part of GMA’s Sunday variety show “S.O.P.”
Since Kyla is happily married with Alvarez for four years now, her first marriage advice to Heart is to “always pray and make God the center of your life. Kasi ‘yon naman talaga ang key do’n. Kasi si God kapag na-bless Niya ‘yong marriage He will protect it.”
She also added the importance of having good communication, especially on times when couples have misunderstandings, “they have to talk about it na mahinahon,” she says.
