Discover a total Belo Body makeover
MANILA, Philippines - A total makeover is more than just changing a hairstyle or getting all dolled up. Dr. Vicki Belo knows everything from head to toe, which is why Belo Medical Group gives a wide variety of treatments and services to meet everyone’s beauty needs.
Today on ABS-CBN’s Salamat Dok, Dr. Belo shares to televiewers some of Belo Medical Group’s most in-demand services: Laser lipo, breast augmentation, sclerotherapy and laser veins.
She will be joined by Dorothy Espiritu as we discover Belo’s secrets for beauty for the whole body.
One of the most important steps in a total body makeover is getting rid of unwanted fat. Belo has the most advanced procedure to address this need.
Laser lipo is the latest method of liposuction that utilizes an Nd: YAG 1064 laser that acts directly on the fat cells, allowing for much easier and more effective suction. One of the biggest advantages of laser lipo is bio-stimulation: It stimulates the skin’s elastic fibers, which results in greater skin contraction in a shorter period of time. The procedure makes use of state-of-the-art fiberoptics that reach the fat layer of the skin where it emits laser pulses.
Breast augmentation is another favorite of Belo customers. After all, gone are the days of complaining that nature has given women flat chests. Now, women can do something about it. The procedure uses silicone-gel prosthesis or saline-filled implants to enhance the breasts. Implants may be inserted under the breast, around the areola or in the armpits.
Belo also has an answer to the ever-present problem of varicose veins. Sclerotherapy is a simple, virtually painless “clinic procedure” that uses the latest microinjection technology to shrink veins. The solution not only causes the vein to disappear but also improves circulation in healthy working veins.
Laser veins, on the other hand, also uses Nd: YAG 1064 nm laser designed to treat an array of vascular lesions from spider veins to large reticular veins. Because it treats specifically targeted vessels, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact, making treatment easier and keeping pain at a minimum.
Salamat Dok airs Sundays at 7:30 a.m. with simulcast on ANC.
