Troy Montero’s newfound passion: Off-cam and in post-production

MANILA, Philippines — Troy Montero has a new passion—managing his production company "We Love Post."

Troy, who was last seen in drama series "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" in 2012, now keeps busy with the start-up firm.

"With acting I'm okay with maybe a little bit here and there but I'm still really having fun running the company and doing everything behind the scenes," Troy replied when asked about being less visible in the limelight.

His production company is behind the post-production of ER Ejercito’s two films, "Siong Salonga: Manila Kingpin" and "El Presidente."

Aside from managing his own business, Troy is happy to be in control of his own time, especially when it comes to his partner Aubrey Miles and their two kids.

The couple has been together for twelve years now and Troy is happy to say they feel they are stil in the honeymoon stage of their relationship.

Asked how they able to do that, he says good communication is the key.

"We're always laughing and having fun. Of course we love working out and watching what we eat and less stress, we're just trying to have a good time," he confessed.

Troy, however, is yet to turn his back from on-screen appearances. Recently, he guested in the Nivea Men Diskarte Challenge, where his team proved that just like women, men should also take care of themselves especially when trying to win a girl's heart this Valentine's Day.

So aside from taking care of their skin, Troy's advice to the guys this Valentine's Day is "just be as sweet as you can, everything from the heart, treat her right. You don't have to spend a lot, just plan everything and show her a good time as much as you can, that's it."
