MANILA, Philippines- Apl d Ap uses a different strategy in coaching and appealing to the audience in this season of “The Voice of the Philippines.”
“I decided to have fun with the show and really connect with the people,” he said in an interview on Thursday, at the opening of his Jollibee franchise in McArthur Highway, Dau in Pampanga.
“In the first season I was so serious with my comments. This time, I really want to reach out to the people, that there’s a funny side to Apl, there’s a goofy side of Apl.”
The remaining contenders from his team are Mackie Cao, Alisah Bonaobra, Daryl Ong, and Suy Galvez.
Observing his line up, Apl is confident that the winner for this season of the talent search show will be from his team.
“I have a grate, big confidence in winning this year,” he said. “I have a great last four right now in the team, they’re very strong.”
Meanwhile, Apl just released his latest single “Be” that could be purchased online.
The song aims to inspire everyone, especially the youth that “they can be anyone they want to be.” The song is a part of his album that will be launched soon.
He also announced that his band Black Eyes Peas will work on a new album after his commitment with “The Voice of the Philippines.”
