Kris Aquino lashes back at family’s bashers

MANILA, Philippines - Kris Aquino expressed her hurt over netizens’ criticism of her and her brother, President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, in relation to the death of the 44 police Special Action Force members.

On her Instagram account, she reposted a photo with Michael Bublé who was her guest that night. Then on the caption, Kris expressed her thoughts about those people who criticized her family.

Kris said she was ready to be “hated” by the families of the fallen 44 soldiers in Camp Bagong Diwa on Thursday night when she personally sent her condolences.

Yet she said, “Not one of them spoke to me harshly or blamed me in the way I had to endure from those who have the ability to post but not the will to do actual good, when in actuality from those most hurting I received sincere appreciation.”

“I went to work and did my job with self respect and grace,” she added.

In the end, Kris thanked everyone who made her feel loved and respected. "I shall hold in my heart those posts,” Kris said.
