Alex, Matteo in MMK

MANILA, Philippines - Alex Gonzaga and Matteo Guidicelli (photo) will team up for the first time on ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) to tell the life story of long time couple, Jocelyn and Marlon, the first contestants to bag the P1M jackpot prize in It’s Showtime’s game segment in 2012.

Witness in the upcoming drama-comedy episode tonight at 7:15 how the couple, together with their two children, survive on the meager earnings of Marlon, who scavenges for metal junk in creeks for a living. Learn how their unexpected win became an answer to their prayers.

Joining Alex and Matteo are Kyline Alcantara, Kim Molina, Zeppi Borromeo and Maila Gumila. It was directed by Raz de La Torre and written by Jimuel dela Cruz.

 MMK is led by business unit head Malou Santos and creative manager Mel Mendoza-del Rosario.
