Gerald: My body speaks for me
“I take good care of my leading ladies, especially in the love scenes.”
Gerald Anderson did just that during the shoot of his love scenes with Julia Montes in Star Cinema’s Halik sa Hangin which marks Julia’s graduation to mature/adult roles, with JC de Vera as the other leading man.
Director Manny Palo and writer Enrico Santos described Halik sa Hangin (opening today nationwide) as some kind of a journey into “the realm of the intangible,” reminiscent of Haplos, which starred Vilma Santos, Rio Locsin and Christopher de Leon, directed by the late Danny Zialcita.
Recognized as a versatile actor, Gerald, a Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) discovery, has amply proven his acting mettle in the Kapamilya drama Bugoy (as an autistic) and the critically-acclaimed OTJ (On The Job, as a gun for hire).
“What’s tough about my role in Halik is that it requires a whole range of emotions,” said Gerald who sees to it that he’s fit not only emotionally and mentally for every role but also physically.
