MANILA, Philippines - The search for the most beautiful woman in the universe is on as Miss Universe 2014 happens on January 25 (US time), at the Florida International University in Miami, Florida, USA.

Seventy-three candidates will compete for the most coveted title, including Philippines' Mary Jane Lastimosa.
