MANILA, Philippines – Selfies can really be the root of popularity and cruelty these days. Miss Lebanon Saly Greige is being slammed for posing for a selfie with Miss Israel Doron Matalon,along with two other girls.
Missosology, an online pageant-related community forum, said that Greige is slammed in her home nation because of the photo. The photo circulated on Lebanese social media, generating a cruel backlash against her for being on a photo with a representative of an enemy state. Some called for her to lose her title over the photo.

Greige took to Facebook to defend herself saying that she was photobombed by Miss Israel and it was not her intention to insult the Lebanese nation.
Miss Israel on the other hand responded to the issue by posting her laments on her Facebook account.
