Love to Laugh, Love to Dance on Feb. 14

MANILA, Philippines - Mitch Valdes and The Spirit of 67 are set to make you laugh and dance in a Valentine dinner show, Love to Laugh, Love to Dance, on Feb. 14.

As someone who has been in the industry for decades, Mitch created buzz in the entertainment industry as a seasoned all-around singer, actress and comedienne. She has been active in promoting Filipino music as the chairman of the Board of Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) alongside, other popular local artists. Aside from it, she performs in concerts that she herself produced, comedy bars and corporate events, singing songs from the ’70s with a twist as she incorporates comedic acts and remarks in all her shows.

The Spirit of 67 has been in the music scene for more than 18 years.  The group has won several awards such as Best Live Group Performer in Hotels, Music Lounges, and Bars at the annual Aliw Awards Night back in 2006. The band originally made up of musically inclined men from Ateneo de Manila High school batch 67. Now the band consists of a new and younger members, Charlie Ysmael, Kookoo Gonzales, Tony Sabalsa, Zoe Zuñiga, Glenn Balista, Ronald Vicencio, Roberto Amalia and Al-Kaz Salcedo Borromeo. They have done several gigs both locally and internationally, consistently performing retro hits from the ’60s to the ’80s.

Together, they will make you feel entertained in a night filled with romance.

Join them to dinner on Feb. 14 at Sampaguita Gardens, Quezon City. Tickets are priced at P3,000, inclusive of dinner. Dinner will be served at 8 p.m. while the show will start at 9 p.m.
