Marjorie speaks up amid Julia-Dennis snubbing controversy

MANILA, Philippines-  Is Marjorie Barretto denying Dennis Padilla's claim that daughter Julia Barretto snubbed him at a showbiz event?

Recent reports came out where Dennis said her daughter snubbed her during the Christmas party of Dreamscape, the business unit that handled their former shows – Dennis in “Ikaw Lamang” and Julia in “Mirabella.”

In Marjorie's Instagram account on Thursday, she posted a quote about strong women. Then in the caption she said that “there is a big difference between the TRUTH and his story. Let God be the judge of that.”

She also hinted how her daughter is hurting about the issue saying “a mother hurts so much more when her child is hurting.”

Marjorie also touched the issue of parenting, where she said that she may not be a perfect mother but “at least I can proudly say... Pinalaki ko ang mga anak ko, Hindi ko sila pinabayaan kahit kailan. Kahit nahihirapan na ako, kahit marami akong ibang problema, kahit maysakit ako, kahit wala akong pera, kahit wala akong katuwang,kahit sa Anong panahon ... I never stopped being a parent.”

In the end, she tells their family's critics, “God bless you all. You are very lucky you didn't have to endure what my children and I had to.”

In my lifetime I have been called many things and many names... Most of the time by people who have never met me, nor have been part of any of my life battles. They were never part of my journey. But no one, without knowing me first can question how I am as a mother. I am not a perfect parent, and it is impossible to raise perfect children.But at least I can proudly say...
